September 9 Meeting: We’re Back! Mac OS X Snow Leopard, Where to Find Apps and “Is It Really Only Rock & Roll?”

The next meeting of the Hershey Apple Core will be held on September 9 at the Hershey Public Library, starting at 6:30 PM.

Snow Leopard
Summer break is over and The Hershey Apple Core is hitting the ground running with a multi-topic meeting that has something for everyone.

We’ll take a look at Apple’s “It’s Only Rock & Roll, But We Like It” event, what was announced, and what it may mean to you. Then, we’ll show you a cool new way to find great applications for your Mac, as well as keep them up-to-date.

Finally, we’ll take a look at Apple’s new cat, Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard. Even though it is billed as not having any new features, there are plenty of changes and enhancements that make it will worth the $30 upgrade. We’ll give you a tour.

You’ve been waiting all summer to ask, so we’ll also hold our ever-popular question-and-answer session, and, of coure, the Meeting-After-The-Meeting at Fuddruckers, so bring your appetite.

September’s here – time to kick your Mac habit back into high gear with HAC.
